Natural stone, untreated
100% natural stone, never dyed or reconstituted. Veins, inclusions and small shifts in colour are how the material formed; they are marks of origin rather than faults.
Carved by hand
Cut, shaped and polished by hand. Proportions differ a little from piece to piece because each one follows the block it came out of.
Checked and packed
Hand-inspected before dispatch and shipped in shockproof packaging.
Stillness & Attunement
Howlite is traditionally associated with the crown chakra and is believed to quiet mental chatter enough for a person to hear their own thinking.
Hold it in an open palm at the start of meditation and set it down when the mind settles.
Anger & Overthinking
It is the stone most often named for patience — said to absorb irritation and to slow a thought that has been looping since the afternoon.

Howlite's long-standing folk use is simple. It goes on the nightstand or under the pillow of someone whose head will not switch off.

Lighter and warmer to the touch than most stones, it is commonly used in body-scan practice — believed to support the release of held tension rather than to add energy.

Why We Carve Skulls
The skull is the oldest symbol of transformation: what remains, what endures, what is left when everything temporary has gone. Carved in stone it reads less as death and more as clarity.
